Sign Up for our Advanced Dressage Clinic

This is a 5-day clinic for kids and adults alike modeled after Lendon Gray’s D4K week long TEAM clinic in Wellington, FL.

The purpose of this clinic is to further your understanding of dressage and dressage theory in our community and to become the best horseman you can be on and off the horse. This clinic includes: the rider’s position, use of aids, dressage vocabulary, and abilities for competitive Dressage.

For KBD students, completing this clinic is a must if you are interested in other clinics and recognized dressage shows.

Tentative Schedule

Day 1:

- Dressage theory pre-test and determine riding goals
- Equestrian focused work out session
- Lunch Lecture. Topics include: farrier, equine massage therapist, sport horse conditioning and cooling down, braiding demonstration, upper-level riding demonstration
- Riding focus on warm up/rider position

Day 2:

- Equestrian focused yoga session
- Riding session
- Lunch Lecture
-Dressage theory lesson
*Depending on attendance more riding session after theory

Day 3:

- Equestrian focused work out session
- Riding session
- Lunch Lecture
- Dressage theory lesson
*Depending on attendance more riding session after theory

Day 4:

- Equestrian focused yoga session
- Riding session
- Lunch Lecture
- Dressage theory lesson
*Depending on attendance more riding session after theory

Day 5:

- Equestrian focused work out session
- Post-test Dressage theory
- Lunch Lecture
- Ride-a-test, test riding practice plus feedback

Cost of the Clinic

The cost of the clinic is $500. Stalls for the night are available for $25 a night for haul ins.

Don’t have a horse but still want to participate? We have horses you can borrow.

You can also attend the clinic and not ride for $350.

Half of payment will be due at signup and the rest due on the first day of the clinic.
